Vauratee focuses on solid-wood furniture. Parcels are built to take hits: rigid boards, dense foam, edge/corner guards, and “This Side Up” labels on wide panels. Standard-size boxes travel with small-parcel networks; oversize or heavy items go with specialist furniture freight. From checkout onward, Vauratee shows the full total, realistic timelines, and the handling method chosen for your order.

Vauratee also ships apparel and compact lifestyle items as a secondary line. These go in protective mailers or small cartons and usually move faster through parcel carriers. For mixed carts (furniture + apparel), items may leave different facilities or on separate schedules—no extra fee.

Where Vauratee ships

United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Spain, Canada, Italy, Belgium, and Portugal.

Vauratee does not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO, or certain remote territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, and select outlying island regions in Europe/Australia). A street address is required so heavy wood pieces can be handled safely.

If the destination is outside the list above, has vehicle limits, or involves difficult stairs/elevators, contact Vauratee before ordering so options and any add-on services can be confirmed.

Carriers & service levels

Depending on destination, size/weight, and network capacity, Vauratee uses UPS, FedEx, USPS (for select small U.S. parcels), and DHL Express on international routes to UK/FR/DE/ES/IT/BE/PT/AU/CA.

Large/heavy furniture (e.g., solid-wood tables) may travel by LTL freight with liftgate for curbside delivery (driveway/curb only—no in-home placement). Freight partners typically call or text to set a delivery window. Palletizing and shrink-wrap may be used for extra protection.

Some high-value shipments require an adult signature in the U.S., UK, FR, DE, ES, IT, BE, PT, AU, and CA. If a signature is required, Vauratee’s tracking email will say so.

Apparel & small goods move through parcel networks with end-to-end tracking. Signature is not required unless selected at checkout or added by Vauratee for security.

Processing time vs. shipping time

  • Processing time = final checks, packing, and label creation before pickup.

  • Shipping time = the in-transit period after carrier pickup.

Business days: Monday–Friday; U.S. public holidays excluded. International lanes to UK/FR/DE/ES/IT/BE/PT/AU/CA may need extra time for customs/security. Severe weather, local holidays, strikes, or carrier backlogs can add 1–3 business days. Address changes after dispatch can incur a re-route fee and delay delivery.

Apparel note: Apparel-only orders often clear processing quickly and may arrive sooner than the baseline windows below, depending on destination and network capacity.

Furniture specifics: Solid-wood pieces are bulky and heavy. Carriers may charge by dimensional weight (size + mass). Large tables typically require LTL liftgate and cargo insurance. Multi-item orders may ship in separate boxes to reduce damage risk—no extra cost for split shipments. Where helpful, cartons are banded to one pallet to protect edges/corners. Vauratee subsidizes part of the freight so reinforced packing and clear totals are reflected at checkout.

Apparel & small goods: Apparel-only parcels (usually ≤2 kg) use discounted parcel services. When the cart qualifies, a lower apparel rate may auto-apply at checkout and override the regional flat rate above. Free-shipping thresholds apply to the order total, unless a promotion is shown at checkout.

Taxes & duties (international orders)

For orders to UK/FR/DE/ES/IT/BE/PT/AU/CA, Vauratee ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)import taxes, VAT/GST, and customs processing are included in the checkout total. The carrier should not collect money at delivery. If someone asks for payment at the door, do not pay—contact Vauratee so the carrier can be corrected.

Processing & dispatch

Most orders move to final checks & packing within 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri, U.S. holidays excluded). Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST usually start the same business day; later orders start next business day.

Pre-order / made-to-order furniture ships after completionVauratee’s order confirmation shows an estimated ship-by date. If items have different lead times, Vauratee may ship ready items first or hold to ship together—your confirmation will state which method applies. Apparel in a mixed cart may ship first if ready.

Furniture delivery, access & assembly

To protect heavy parts and make setup easier, many furniture items ship partially disassembled. Every furniture order includes a clear picture guide, and most include a basic tool (e.g., Allen key). Typical setup time: 20–30 minutes for two adults. Check all parts before assembly and work on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.

If the address has stairs, tight hallways, limited elevators, gated entries, or truck limits, tell Vauratee before shipment so options can be proposed. If you need room-of-choice delivery, stair carries, debris removal, or an exact-time slot, Vauratee can quote upgrades (third-party services, billed separately).

Missed freight appointments, liftgate refusals, post-dispatch address fixes, or re-delivery requests may cause carrier fees charged at cost.

(Apparel orders need no assembly and are delivered to the door via parcel carriers.)

Tracking your order

When an order leaves the workshop & staging area at 888 Thomas S Boyland St, Brooklyn, NY 11212, Vauratee emails a shipping confirmation with the tracking number and a direct link.

Tracking can take 24–72 hours to show movement—especially on international routes while customs scans are pending. Freight tracking may display “label created” until the order reaches a local terminal. If there’s no update after 72 hours, contact Vauratee so the carrier can be checked. Apparel parcels usually update faster.

If something goes wrong

Inspect packages right away at delivery.

If an item arrives damaged, contact Vauratee within 72 hours with the order number and clear photos or a short video showing the outer box, inner packing, and affected areas. Note visible damage with the driver when possible and keep all packaging until next steps are confirmed.

For minor cosmetic issues on furniture, Vauratee can often send a replacement part or a touch-up kit quickly.

If a parcel appears lostno movement for >7 days or not delivered within 14 business days after shipping—reach out to Vauratee. Once the carrier confirms loss, Vauratee will send a replacement at no extra cost or issue a full refund.

Refused deliveries or undeliverable orders (e.g., repeated missed appointments or incorrect addresses) may be returned by the carrier. Vauratee can re-ship after the address is confirmed and any return/storage/re-delivery fees are paid at cost.

Order changes & cancellations

An order that has not entered processing or has not shipped can be canceledcontact Vauratee as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of purchase. After an order is processed and handed to the carrier, cancellation is not available. After delivery, see the Return & Refund Policy.

For international orders to UK/FR/DE/ES/IT/BE/PT/AU/CA, cancellation is not available once the shipment has cleared customs. Need to change the address? Contact Vauratee before shipping; after shipping, carriers may charge a re-route fee and delivery may be delayed.
